The Lethe

I write for these two a lot in the background. Every once in a while, something happens or a phrase is said which brings them to mind. The original conceit was to intersperse the story with minor alterations to the world–Neologisms or simple, unobtrusive practices which would then have citations explaining them. I finished up a short story version without any citations for a class. But now, if I’m ever getting around to finishing their story, it’s going to happen a long time in the future. So, I shoving it here to wait.
